Though I liked this sequence, and I agree with other commenters that the balance between upper and lower body strengthening was good, I don’t think that instructor comments about “burning calories” or “feeling thin” have any place in a yoga practice. Not everyone wants to burn extra calories or be thin, and these should hardly be the focuses of a practice that is meant to nourish the soul and body

“Beginner friendly”? Really? Crow Pose and Jump? You really DON’T know what a beginner is….

Reply 2 Dawn Crawford2 months ago Amazing powerful flow, my arms and core ached next day. Briohny is amazing!!! Thank you aloyoga, please keep the videos coming, loving this channel❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Reply 2 Isabel Julie2 months ago Despite the slow pace, I was able to generate some heat. Really focusing on strength in this class, I found the mix of upper and lower-body focus very even. Loved the long crow and opportunity for tripod headstand. A half hour is very short, but would have liked a couple more twists which I added in my closing sequence. Really altogether a great class if you only have a half hour. Namaste, Briohny. It's hard to find an online yoga video that explores inversions, so I appreciated this element. Reply 1 Alo Yoga1 month ago Hi Livija!
